Hey everyone, Dan here to inform you about the debut show of an incredibly fun side project I’ve been working on called the Cool Kids Club, a Mystery Science Theater-esque live show where me and some other cool kids will be making fun of black-and-white educational films from the 1950s and 60s. The show is being organized by Jeff Rubin of Collegehumor.com and also features PSU/Phroth alums Kevin Haulihan and Steve Menegozzi, and this guy Matt Esolda who I just met doing this but who’s really funny too. The show is at the Universal Space Agency on South 1st St in Williamsburg, show starts at 8:30, it’s free, it’s about an hour long, and you can bring your own beer.
I guarantee that you will feel like an even cooler kid than you ever have before or will again, at least until our next show. Come check it out!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Video Night at the East River Bar. It was a tremendously kickass time. All said, over sixty people packed the bar’s patio, dining on meats ranging from catfish to steak. A huge thanks to Sara, bartending saint of the East River Bar, for being so accomodating. And another huge thanks to the Bare Hand Wolf Chokers Association for their co-sponsoring of the event.
